Archibald Dux, The Giant Squid

2006-2009

After seeing a documentary, I became fascinated with giant squid (architeuthis dux). Wondering what one would look like in person lead me to create Archibald - a life sized plush replica. A mircosite, time-lapse video, and Myspace profile quickly helped make Archibald go viral. My squids have shown in galleries in New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles with press from magazines as far away as Poland, Italy and China.
